WebCT Step-by-Step Instructions for Teachers/Instructors
 The following instructions are organized by three levels and intended to assist teachers in using the tools of WebCT effectively. The instructions include how to use the WebCT course environment, as well as suggestions for using each tool to meet the Standards for Course Development for AVLN. The instructions below do not cover all the tools in WebCT. If you would like to submit instructional materials to be added to this course/page, please email Marilyn Eggers at eggers@avln.orgto volunteer. Level 1 is intended for those beginning to use WebCT. It includes the very basics:
Level 2 can be used on a need-to-know basis. After you've mastered the tools in Level 1, pick and choose the topics that meet your needs in your course.
Level 3 builds on what you learned in Level 2. For example, you should understand the quizzes in Level 2 before moving on to the quizzes in Level 3. Pick and choose from these topics as needed.
