Distance Education Column - March 2004
Sponsored by AVLNAdventist Virtual Learning Network Conference 2004
By Marilyn EggersThe 2004 AVLN Conference at Pacific Union College was a blessing to those who attended it. A variety of visions, ideas, approaches, and strategies were shared to help teachers either to create effective online learning experiences or to integrate technology into the curriculum in meaningful ways.
Many of the K-12 teachers who attended the conference satisfied the NAD renewal requirement for integrating technology into the curriculum by attending conference sessions and doing additional work after the conference. Some higher education teachers took the course for credit as well. Find out how these educators did it here.
Explore the conference resources below. Not only will you get a better understanding of the conference, but you may also find some useful resources for your own teaching situation. We hope to see you at the AVLN Online Conference in 2005!
