Using Organizer Pages
Organizer pages are similar to the Homepage. They allow you to group links to tools of similar function. To use an organizer page,
- Use Add Page or Tool to add an organizer page.
- Then use Add Page or Tool to add items to the organizer page.
Instructional Tips for Organizer Pages
- My favorite use of the organizer page is to create pages that go striaght into a discussion topic. I create a topic for the groups in my class. Then I create an organizer page for each group. The Discussion link can be Edited to change the Starting Topic. When students click on the Discussion link, it goes straight to the topic they are supposed to be in. It can be less confusing for teacher and students!
- You can also use an organizer page to collect resources for the teacher. Then make the page hidden so that students cannot view it.
