Using Student Home Pages

Student Homepage gives students the tools they need to create a personal Web page, which can contain
information about themselves, the projects they are working on, links to their favorite Web sites, and perhaps
biographical information about their favorite pets!

Viewing a student's homepage

The Student Homepages screen displays a list of all students registered in the course. If a student has created a
Homepage, their name is hyperlinked. If the student does not have a Homepage, the word 'blank' appears beside their name on the screen.

To view a student's Homepage, click their name. Their Student Homepages screen appears.

Instructional Tips for Student Home Pages

• Use the homepages to develop personal contact between the students and help them get to know each other.
• Some student may not be able to intuitively figure out how to add information to their page. You can direct them to WebCT's Student Help page for HomePages.
